This is an electric nasal irrigation device that is very similar to the functionality of a Navage and it replaces less effective netti-pots. This holds about a cup of water so standard saline packets work great with this to prevent burn. The nose pieces are replaceable, and extras are provided. Salt packets to get you started are also provided. Like a Navage, you can twist the nose pieces 180 degrees to reverse flow. Quality is surprisingly good, this works decently well, it is easy to use and it is relatively easy to clean. This has 2 power modes. This is absolutely great for seasonal allergies, after working with dust/sawdust/wood/etc or after any lawn work to remove all the crap that your nose caught. This provides a lot of relief, and it seems like a good value.

I had sinus surgery several years ago, and my doctor told me that regular nasal rinses were the best thing that I could do to control my sinus pressure and reaction to environmental allergies. I’ve been a nasal squeeze bottle user ever since. Several times, I’d thought about “upgrading” my manual squeeze bottle to a battery operated irrigator, but the costs were either ridiculously high, or the contraptions were super difficult to clean (important when you’re spraying stuff into your body!). But then, I came across this nasal irrigation machine and not only was it a great price, it’s made in such as way as to be able to clean everything easily. It’s also super quiet to use (so quiet that at first I wasn’t sure that it was on and working…you can hear me breathing out through my mouth on the video, but the machine is almost silent). Not only does it spray a stream of water into your nose, but the other side suctions the used water out and stores it into a collection cup, so no more having to tilt your head and lean over the sink! It comes with additional nose cushions, and both water cups have wide openings that unscrew for easy cleaning with soapy water. It has lasted through several rinse cycles on a single charge. Remember to always used distilled (NOT TAP!) water (because brain eating amoebas will definitely ruin your day), and add the saline packets that are included. I also personally like to heat my water for 15 seconds in the microwave so it’s slightly warm (not hot!), so it feels comfortable. I highly recommend this little nasal irrigator, especially throughout cold and flu season.

This nasal irrigation system is just what I needed for sinus issues and when stopped up from colds. I had not ever used a nasal irrigation system, so it took me a minute to get used to it like it would with any irrigation system. I really appreciated how detailed the instructions were as well as the trouble shooting section of the instructions. Just like it said, the first time I did it was more of the experimental one, but by the second time, it was so easy to use! It is fascinating how the salt water flows through the nasal cavity to clear out the sinuses and the water is collected in the container. The seal on the “nose pillows” works really well and the nasal irrigation system itself works really well and is easy to clean! It was also appreciated how it comes with a good supply of the salt pods making it super easy and convenient to use whenever needed. This will be a necessity when allergy season hits us.
